Spend a full day exploring the key attractions of Hanoi starting from the symbolic Temple of Literature, known as the First Vietnam University opened in 1070. Next, see the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex and take a bike ride along the famous West Lake then head to Long Bien Bridge.
The highlight of this evening is the puppetry performance by Hoan Kiem Lake.

After breakfast, we depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh - a dramatic area home to the ancient capital of Vietnam. Leave the car to board a bike ride through the picturesque landscapes of Ninh Binh, formed by green rice paddies and awe-inspiring karst mountains. There are different routes to choose with several stops to visit the historic sites as well Unesco-listed areas. The routes range from 10 to 40km with easy physical level.

After breakfast, drive to Hai Phong province for a ferry to Cat Ba island. Get our gears to hike through Cat Ba national park which is full of dense forest. The hike is often up and down, offering stunning views of Cat Ba`s mountains. The total distance is about 9km.
If time permits, visit Viet Hai village.

This morning, board a cruise after breakfast. You`ll travel to the remote part of Lan Ha Bay. The day is dedicated to kayaking as the cruise anchors in the middle of the bay. There are chances to navigate through Dark and Bright caves.
Relax or take part in a cooking class on board.

Rise for a beautiful sunrise and relax on deck as the cruise sails further to the less-visited part of the bay. Disembark the cruise around noon then transfer back to Hanoi. If time permits, enjoy a guided food walk to explore the culinary scene of Hanoi. 
We`ll arrange a fresh up before you take the night train to Dong Hoi.

As the train arrives early at Dong Hoi train station, hop on a drive to Phong Nha National Park. 
Start trekking through the jungle then hiking downhill to reach a branch of the Rao Thuong stream. After 1,5 hour walk, you`ll arrive at Dong village , home to a local ethnic minority setting deep in the jungle. Get an introduction to the local life then trek to Hang En. 
Settle your stay in a camp which offers access to a turquoise lake - available to swim.

Morning is the time to explore the magical cave of Hang En, admiring its stalagmites and stalactites.  After wading through the underground streams you will reach the large sandy floor of the gigantic cave exit. Afterward, you will return through the cave to the underground camp for lunch and a short break. 
Return to Phong Nha national park in the afternoon.

After breakfast, drive to Hue from Phong Nha National Park. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest.
Hue is one of the most characterful cities in Vietnam which is listed in the Unesco Heritages. And the best way to experience the city is probably by bike. The ride takes you to the must-sees of Hue including the Citadel, Dong Ba market, and Thien Mu pagoda.

We transfer southward to the charming town of Hoi An. The journey is highlighted by the dramatic view over the ocean and Long Co beach from Hai Van Pass. 
After lunch, we continue to Cam Thanh, a tranquil district in Hoi An that houses a large area of palm mangroves - a perfect place to kick off your kayak. 
Paddle towards Hoi An town, gliding through palm forests and picturesque villages. Disembark in Hoi An and head to your hotel.

The ancient town of Hoi An has so many things to seduce you from timeless pagodas to amazing architectural heritages, from lantern-lit cafes to attractive food shops. Those who fancy sea-sand-sun can escape to An Bang or Cua Dai beach within just 30 30-minute ride. 
The day is left for your exploration of Hoi An.

This morning, we transfer by car to Da Nang for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, drive to your hotel and begin your sightseeing with a visit to the Reunification Palace and War Remnant Museum. 
When it turns dark, get ready for a unique food tour on the back of a motorbike - you`ll sample the authentic dishes of Ho Chi Minh city like a local!

Breakfast at the hotel then set out to Hoc Mon. From here we commence a 20km ride passing rice fields and local plantations until reaching Cu Chi Tunnels. 
The Cu Chi Tunnels are an important underground network of houses, hospitals, arms storage, and military bases during the Vietnam/ American War. Enjoy your guided visit to Cu Chi. 
Return to Ho Chi Minh city by boat.
