Lan Ha Bay offers striking seascapes near the large island of Cat Ba. It is a postcard-perfect destination in the less-visited part of Ha Long Bay – one of the iconic Unesco Heritage sites in Vietnam.
This morning, depart from Hanoi to Tuan Chuan island where you will embark on an Indochina-styled boat. Enjoy the sumptuous lunch as the boat glides deeper into the bay. As the boat moors close to Cat Ba island, hop on a little adventure on the bike to Viet Hai village to understand the unique local life.
You are free to join a cooking class before relaxing for a pleasant night onboard.

For an energetic start to the day, rise early for a Tai Chi class before having breakfast.
The highlight of this day is your kayaking adventure in Frog Lake – the sampan ride is another option for those who love to enjoy the scenery in a more leisurely way. Admire the striking islets and floating caves as you paddle through Lan Ha`s emerald waters.
Heading back to Tuan Chau island for a transfer to Hanoi then board the overnight train to Sapa.

The train arrives early at Lao Cai station, taking your breakfast and refresh before we head to Sapa town for your trek by car.
Your trekking today focuses on the remote part of Ban Ho Valley, home to the Hmong, Tay, and Red Dao hill tribes. Get your camera ready to photograph the stunning rice terraces with the backdrop of Hoang Lien Son mountains.
Settle your stay with a view toward the valley.

After breakfast, depart for Ban Khoang passing by the impressive Ngu Chi Son mountain and some small, beautiful waterfalls. Take your chances to photograph the picture-perfect settings of the area then visit a Black Hmong village that is famous for its silk workshops.
In Ta Giang Phinh, embark on a 2-hour trek to see the Red Dao people. The trek is packed with unspoiled nature and scenic valleys. Head to Lao Cai city for the overnight train back to Hanoi

The train arrives in Hanoi in the morning, allowing us to experience the morning market of Long Bien which is the hub for flowers, vegetables, and fruits of Hanoi city.

Spend the day exploring the key attractions of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and Museum of Art.
Late afternoon, board a cyclo to navigate through the exciting streets of Hanoi`s Old Quarter. Drop back to your hotel.
