Spend the day appreciating the highlights of Hanoi with your private tour guide. In the morning, see Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison – two remarkable sites that present the history of the Vietnam War. 
Next, hop on a market visit to learn briefly about Vietnamese cuisine. Here, you`ll have a chance to taste the savory traditional foods. 
Your last stop today is the iconic Old Quarter which is stuffed with sounds and sights. Visit Bach Ma Pagoda, an ancient house in Ma May streets before enjoying a puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.

Depart from Hanoi early this morning on the highway to Lao Cai province. 
Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax with the mountain view. The adventure this afternoon takes you to Lech village, the habitat of Red Dao people. Here, your guide will introduce you to the uniqueness of their lifestyle as well as daily activities.

Begin your journey by transferring deeper into Hoang Lien National Park. It is time to behold the breathtaking views of the Sapa mountains, and serene valley, and the picturesque rice terraces as you walk to Nam Nhiu village. 
Continuing onward, you'll follow a narrow dirt trail, marveling at the picturesque vista of rice fields speckled with bamboo huts used by local farmers during harvest time. Your final stop today is Nam Cang village, nestled in the remote corners of Sapa, which is renowned for its vibrant Red Dao community, and adorned in some of Vietnam's most colorful traditional attire. Return to your hotel.

Today, we escape from the vibrant town of Sapa for a road trip to the Bac Ha area. For 2 2-hour drive, the road snakes through mountains and leads you through the Vietnam-China border where you may have a break. 
Depending on our travel day, we will go to Coc Ly Market ( Tuesday), Lung Khau Nhin Market ( Thursday), Can Cau Market ( Saturday), or Bac Ha Market ( Sunday). 
These markets are the rendezvous of different ethnic groups in the area including Flower Hmong, Tay, Nung, and Black Dao. 
After the market visit, embark on a short walk to learn more about Hmong culture through their traditional works of making corn wine, weaving and other farming activities. 
Transfer to Lao Cai city for a night train back to Hanoi.

The train arrives early in Hanoi allowing you the time to explore the city`s morning scene. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake where the locals practice Tai Chi lessons and taste the authentic Vietnamese breakfast.
After that, take a scenic drive to Tuan Chau Island to board a styled cruise exploring the mythical landscape of the Unesco-listed Halong Bay. Relax on deck or swim in Ba Trai Dao Beach in Lan Ha Bay. You can also opt for a kayaking adventure to see the hidden side of the bay. The cruise also offers a dedicated cooking class in the evening.

Rise early for an amazing sunrise over the karst limestone islands. After that, venture into the Dard and Bright Cave aboard a bamboo boat. Having brunch as the cruise sails back to the shore. Transfer to Hanoi for your leisure.

Our destination today is known as one of the last tropical paradise in Southeast Asia. Con Dao archipelago consists of 16 islands and most of them are uninhabited. It is a perfect place to indulge in pristine beaches, lush forests and dramatic seascapes.
Transfer from Hanoi to the airport for a flight to Con Son, the largest island in Con Dao archipelago. Transfer to your hotel and rest at leisure.

Another free day to soak up sea-sand-sun on Cao Dao island.
Option: private boat trip to other untouched islands in the area with lunch.

Rest at leisure until our driver picks you up for the flight to Ho Chi Minh. Transfer to your hotel.
If time permits, visit the iconic attractions including the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, and the Notre Dam Cathedral.

Spend the morning unearthing the history of Cu Chi tunnels, a large underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. 
We then head to the airport for your departure in the afternoon.
